Zarus

Raised among fellow captives and forced to construct a mighty coliseum for the king of Nyr, his small size hid fierce determination and dreams of grandeur. He fought nightly in secret bouts as the arena was built, and when discovered, he faced the Nyrian commander’s glaive - surviving the loss of an eye and earning a brutal offer to train as a gladiator in exchange for wagers on his victories.

Over a decade, Zarus rose through Nyr’s deadly arenas, suffering only three losses before sweeping the death‐match circuit and earning the title Champion of Nyr. When the freedom he was promised turned into a death sentence, he slaughtered a battalion of a thousand soldiers sent to kill him, his wounds healing unnaturally and revealing a resilience unusual for a mortal.

In a final revolt, Zarus pierced the king and shattered his bloodied crown, refusing hollow power. With oppression ended, he abandoned Nyr’s blood‐soaked sands in search of godhood - his legacy forged in victory, vengeance, and unbreakable will.
