Serath

Serath rose through the ranks of the Radiant Vanguard, Velrune’s storied order of paladins sworn to shield the realm from devilish incursions. Steely in weapon and spirit, she struck down countless infernal foes with righteous fury - until she faced an abomination unlike any before, a devil whose power eclipsed her own.

When her mace failed to fell the creature, Serath made the ultimate sacrifice. She offered her life to imprison the devil within her soul, buying time for her order. But the fiend’s cunning cleaved its essence in twain, leaving only part of its malice bound to her light.

Now Serath hunts the dispersed fragments of that fiend, each victory costing her a piece of herself. With every sliver of darkness she reabsorbs, she feels the devil’s rage stirring beneath her armour - threatening to burst free whenever her anger flares. Scared yet determined, Serath presses on, driven by the vow to purge the evil she hosts before it consumes her entirely.
