Morigesh

When a mysterious pestilence swept Nyxthra, Morigesh’s people were stricken with a merciless rot. One of the last to fall, she scavenged forest herbs to craft a remedy, only to discover the disease had tainted them first - her cure only accelerating her village’s demise.

Grief-stricken and bound by superstition, Morigesh fled the ruins of Grayfen and stumbled deep into the Twilight Band.

As the plague coursed through her veins, she turned to forbidden rites and hexes she had once been taught to avoid. To keep the poison at bay, she learned to transfer it into the surrounding flora and fauna. Knowing she could never fully purge the blight within, she cursed creatures, vines, and roots around her to preserve her life.

Now forced to poison the land around her to stave off her own decay, Morigesh is hunted by those who guard the wilds. She knows that if she ever stops, she will succumb to the same rot she has unleashed upon the Twilight Band.
