Once an inmate of The Orbital Cage, Riktor was offered a choice: rot in a cell forever, or submit to experimental reform. What emerged from the operating slab was no man. It was a brutal amalgamation of iron, fuel, and fury: rebuilt to patrol, punish, and never question.
His chains drag like anchors and strike like hammers. Every step grinds like a factory engine refusing to die. His mind is gone: scrubbed, silenced, replaced with orders that loop endlessly in his skull. Riktor was conditioned not to think, but only to enforce tirelessly and brutally.
Except his thoughts are returning to him. Whether due to a fault in his conditioning or through sheer determination, Riktor is becoming increasingly aware of the horrors around him, and of the horrors done to him.
For now, he is the sound in the corridor. The weight behind the door. The one the inmates fear. But what will happen when Riktor finally escapes the prison in his own head?
