The Predecessor Championship Circuit: Summer Summit 2026

The Predecessor Championship Circuit returns with the Summer Summit. A three‑week gauntlet where the strongest teams in the scene clash for $14,000 across EU and NA. Additionally the winners of each region will get a Profile Icon, Banner and Overhead Emote released in game to represent their team.

The Predecessor Stage

The journey begins in Week One.

This opening stage features a double‑elimination bracket, where a variety of teams battle it out for eight coveted qualifying spots that grant access to compete as part of the Top-16 in the Paragon Stage.

All early‑round matches are best‑of‑one, with the qualification matches being best‑of‑three, ensuring only the most adaptable squads advance.

The Paragon Stage

Week Two raises the intensity.

Here, the eight qualified teams join the established powerhouse, Top 8 Teams with the most Pinnacle points so far. Together, they form a 16‑team field entering an accelerated Swiss format built for drama and pressure.

The rules are simple:

- Teams always face opponents with the same loss record.

- The first five rounds are best‑of‑one, pushing teams to perform under tight margins.

- Top 3 teams go straight to the Pinnacle

- Bottom 3 teams end their run here

Then comes the turning point:

A sixth, best‑of‑three elimination round, where the remaining 10 teams face off, strongest vs weakest and rematches are possible. The 5 best teams will move on to the Pinnacle to join the 3 teams from the Swiss format to make the Top 8 and the final weekend.

The Pinnacle

Week three determines the Champion.

The final eight teams enter The Pinnacle, a full double‑elimination playoff bracket.

Each match will be played out as a best‑of‑three, with the two teams that reach the Grand Final then battling it out in a best‑of‑five showdown to determine the Summer Summit Champion!

Pinnacle Points

Teams participating in the PCC will be eligible to earn Pinnacle Points (PP) based on their final placement. The higher a team places, the more PP they will earn.

In the event of a tied placement, all tied teams will receive the lowest point value available for that shared placement.

Pinnacle Point Perks:

- Pinnacle Point perks may include:

- Improved seeding based on total PP

- Bypassing play-in stages

- Guaranteed registration

- Access to exclusive events

- Eligibility for exclusive interview segments

Roster Rules & PP Penalties:

- Teams may have a maximum roster size of 6 players.

- An event cycle is defined as the period between the conclusion of one PCC event and roster lock for the next PCC event.

- Between events, teams may add players as needed, up to the 6-player maximum. If a team did not previously have a 6th player, they may add one without penalty regardless of other roster changes.

- Any rostered player, including substitutes, counts toward roster change calculations.

- Teams must retain at least 3 of their previous rostered players in order to maintain ownership of their Pinnacle Points and team identity.

Roster change penalties are as follows:

- 0 player changes: Teams that make no roster changes throughout an event cycle will earn an additional 20% of the PP awarded for that event placement.

- 1 player change: No PP penalty.

- 2 player changes: Team loses 20% of their existing PP, rounded up.

- 3 or more player changes: Team loses all previously earned PP.

- PP penalties are based on the team’s total PP at the beginning of the event.

- PP penalties will be applied after the event concludes and will not affect seeding for the current event.

- Rosters lock at the start of each event unless an exception is approved by tournament administration.

Administrative Rules:

- PCC administration reserves the right to make rulings in exceptional circumstances, including emergencies, player bans, inactivity, or cases of attempted rule circumvention.

- PCC administration also reserves the right to reset or adjust Pinnacle Points between competitive seasons.

- PP may not be transferred, sold, or inherited outside of eligible roster retention rules.
