Wukong

Wukong was born a restless trickster, a clever monkey whose ambitions outgrew the canopy. Obsessed with immortality and greatness, he sought out various masters across the realms - eventually earning tutelage under Feng Mao, the exiled guardian who hoped to temper Wukong’s pride with his own hard-earned discipline.

When conventional lessons failed and sparks began to fly between them, Wukong inadvertently struck down the ancient spirit of the wild, a tragedy so severe it rocked the cosmos and forced the reckless trickster to pause. Seeing in Wukong his own past mistakes, Feng Mao resorted to drastic measures: trapping his apprentice in unbreakable chains beneath Vael'Zhurin, swearing the lesson would last an eternity.

But the Monkey King’s cunning proved greater than any iron. Centuries later he shattered his bonds and returned to his never-ending quest for power and life.

Now, Wukong wanders the mortal realms as freely as the winds he commands, forever chasing the next challenge with a wicked grin and a spring in his step.
