To fix this, please follow these steps:

This error pops up when the Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed, corrupted, or not recognized. 
If you're experiencing that issue, please try the following steps: 
<ul>
<li>Install/Repair Easy Anti-Cheat. To do so, please navigate to the Install Folder and Run InstallAntiCheat.bat

Check that Easy Anti-Cheat and Predecessor are installed on the same drive. Easy Anti-Cheat will install to whatever the default installation drive is for Windows, usually C:. If you changed the default save location, the EAC might have been installed elsewhere.</li>
