Terms & Conditions (T&Cs)
These are the official terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") that govern how the Predecessor promotion will operate. This promotion will be simply referred to as the "Contest" throughout the rest of these Terms and Conditions. In these Terms and Conditions, "we", "our", and "us" refer to Omeda Studios Limited.
1. Eligibility
Geographic Scope: The competition is open only to legal residents of the European Union (EU) member states, Canada, the United States (US), China and the United Kingdom (UK).
Age: Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to enter and accept the prize. Proof of age, identity and place of residence may be required and requested.
How to Enter: To enter, participants must submit their best in-game screenshot from Predecessor on a public social media channel (Facebook, X, Instagram, Bilibili) and correctly tag the official Predecessor social media account (e.g. for X: @PredecessorGame) as specified in the competition announcement.
2. Acceptance
When entering into this Contest, you will be requested to accept these Terms and Conditions and be bound by them.
Although this Contest is featured on Facebook, X, Instagram and Bilibili, it is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, these social media services and Facebook, X, Instagram and Bilibili disclaims all liability in relation to this Contest.
3. Submission Guidelines
Content: Submitted screenshots must be original work, taken by the entrant within the Predecessor game.
Appropriateness: Submissions must not contain any offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content, as determined solely by Omeda Studios.
Disqualification: We will automatically disqualify any incomplete or illegible entry, any entries that we receive from you that are in excess of any entry limit described below, any entrant whose entry is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or any entrant who tampers with the entry process or is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering or tampering with this promotion or engages in any un-sportsman-like or dishonest conduct of any kind. Errors and omissions may be accepted. Failure by us to enforce any of our rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4. Competition Period & Judging
Duration: The competition will run from 24th November, 2025 at 15:00 UTC until 1st December, 2025 at 15:00 UTC. Submissions received outside this period will not be considered.
Entry limit: Each entrant can only submit one (1) entry for this Contest.
Odds of winning: The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received and the level of skill of each entrant. If there is a dispute regarding a potential winner, we will consider the potential winner to be the authorised account holder of the social media account used to enter the Contest.
Winner Selection: Our staff will judge all eligible entries based on creativity, composition, and visual appeal. Our decision is final and binding.
Winners: The top 10 entries will be selected as winners.
5. Prize & Fulfilment
Prize: Each of the 10 selected winners will receive one (1) Alienware PRO Headset, courtesy of Alienware, valued at £225.
Contact & Delivery: Winners will be contacted via the social media platform used for entry (or associated channels) within 48 hours of the competition end. By entering the Contest you hereby grant us permission to contact you for this purpose.
Address Requirement: Winners must provide a valid shipping address within the eligible regions (EU, Canada, US, or UK) to receive the prize. Failure to respond or provide a valid address within 7 days of initial contact will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.
Shipping: Omeda Studios and Alienware will cover the cost of standard shipping. Winners are responsible for any potential customs duties or import taxes, though the studio will aim to minimise these where possible.
Prize as Awarded: The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other substitution is permitted.
6. Rights & Publicity
Usage: By submitting a screenshot, the entrant grants us the perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display the submitted screenshot for promotional and marketing purposes across all media, with or without credit to the entrant. Please note that following the end of this Contest your entry may be posted on a website selected by us for viewing by visitors to that website. We are not responsible for any unauthorised use of your entry by visitors to this website. While we reserve these rights, we are not obligated to use your entry for any purpose, even if it has been selected as a winning entry. If you do not want to grant us these rights to your entry, please do not enter this Contest.
7. Amendment
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we reserve the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this Contest and to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. If cheating, a virus, bug, catastrophic event, or any other unforeseen or unexpected event that cannot be reasonably anticipated or controlled (also referred to as force majeure) affects the fairness and/or integrity of this Contest, we reserve the right to cancel, change or suspend this Contest. This right is reserved whether the event is due to human or technical error. If a solution cannot be found to restore the integrity of the Contest, we reserve the right to select winners from among all eligible entries received before we had to cancel, change or suspend the Contest. If you attempt to compromise the integrity or the legitimate operation of this Contest by hacking or by cheating or committing fraud in ANY way, we may seek compensation from you for any losses that we incur as a result of your actions to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, we may ban you from participating in any of our future Contests, so please play fairly.
8. Liability
We cannot guarantee the performance of any third party and shall not be liable for any act or default by a third party. Entrants in this Contest agree that we will have no liability whatsoever for (a) any injuries, losses, costs, damage or disappointment of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, misuse or use of a prize, or from participation in this Contest or (b) technical, hardware or software failures, lost, faulty or unavailable network connections or difficulties of any kind that may limit or prohibit the entrant's ability to participate in the Contest. The foregoing shall apply in the event your data or your entry is not received or lost by us. Nothing in this clause shall limit our liability in respect of death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence or arising out of fraud. The provisions of this section shall apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Data
Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation applicable in your country of residence and in the country where the data controller is located.
