Kira

Kira's home was a forgotten hamlet on the edge of Nyxthra, often left off maps due to its miniscule population and stagnating economy. Despite this, she knew every villager by name, memorized their routines, and knew exactly when something - or someone - was off.

When the disappearances began, no one came to help. When the once cheerful and bright square grew quiet and fearful, no one dared to ask why. And when the creature wearing her father's face shared a crooked smile across the hearth, she was forced to make a choice no child should ever have to face. She never spoke of what happened that night to anyone, only that she emerged from those woods with bloodied hands and a newfound purpose.

The Order of the Raven took notice soon after. They saw potential in the solemn girl who walked alone into their sanctum, dragging a vampire’s corpse behind her. She held no questions or hesitation, yet met them with a single demand: to be taught more. In exchange for rigorous training in combat techniques and forbidden spells, Kira agreed to the Order's terms: to deliver the heads of the undead, and to never ask about the Order’s true origins or the identity of her new comrades.

Now, Kira stalks the night, her crossbow gleaming with cold purpose. She does not taunt nor gloat. She kills, collects, and moves on. With each offering she returns, her standing in the Order rises. Yet beneath her unwavering resolve, questions stir; at what cost does vengeance come, and who pays the price when the hunter never asks why?
