Pinnacle Points

What are Pinnacle Points?

Pinnacle Points are a type of currency earned by finishing in the top 10 in any Official Omeda event.

Events that happen later in the year will be worth more points and they will be distributed weighted by your final placement. Teams placing in top tier positions will net exponentially more points than those who place lower.

Pinnacle Points will be used to guarantee placement in major events, allowing teams to bypass the play-in stage and ensure they will make it into the streamed portions of the event.

The goal of Pinnacle Points is to reduce excessive roster turnover, encourage team continuity, and allow meaningful storylines to develop across the year, without completely restricting natural team growth and evolution.

What Pinnacle Points Determine

Pinnacle Points will be used to:

  • Determine which teams skip the Play-In Phase of The Summer Summit and The Pinnacle
  • Determine event seeding for those tournaments
  • Determine which teams will be invited in the event of an official Omeda LAN

Roster & Points Rules

  • Points belong to the team, not individual players.
  • After each Omeda Official Event:
    - One player or substitute may be added to a team to replace an existing player or substitute at no cost.
    - A second player or substitute may be added to a team to replace an existing player or substitute at a cost of 20% of the points earned from the most recent event.
  • Teams are limited to 5 starting players and 1 substitute.
    - If a team is at capacity, adding a player requires removing one.
  • If a team reduces its roster below 3 main roster players (substitutes are not included), this will be treated as a team disband, and all Pinnacle Points will be forfeit.

This system balances competitive integrity and roster stability while preserving room for strategic adjustments throughout the season.
