It is said that The Fey can exist on any world, though the spirit guarding the Twilight Band on Equinox is known to be particularly strong thanks to the concentrated ribbon of life in the planet's narrow ring of inhabitable wilderness.
The Fey of Equinox is not a creature but the living will of the region - an ageless demigod born of the rich flora and fauna they're oathed to protect. Where Everburn bakes and Nyxthra chills, the Twilight Band remains a verdant refuge, where the vitality of countless species has fused into a single, conscious guardian.
Their purpose is singular: to repel any force that would threaten or corrupt the Twilight Band. When shamanic curses rot the earth, oil-soaked machines scar the undergrowth, or monsters ravage their domain, The Fey rises - wood twisting into batons and roots toppling their foes with incredible strength.
They are the last bastion of thriving life on a world otherwise dead - unyielding to those who pollute their realm and only merciful to those who respect it.
